DPS-MIS SHINES AT THE ENVIRONMENTAL MEET
The Institute of Engineers have recently launched a three-tiered programme titled "Project 5S - School Students Struggle for Sustainability and to Save Envrionment"
The AMBASSADORS ROLLING TROPHY will be awarded to the school which emerges the overall winner after all the three phases of the competition are completed.
The first phase of the programme,held on 4.6.10, was a quiz on environmental issues. DPS-MIS and Al Khor Indian School were declared FIRST place winners.
The second phase of the programme, held on 17.6.10, was a debate on environmental issues.
DPS-MIS, BPS, MES and Al Khor Indian School were declared FIRST place winners. Based on the points accrued till date, DPS-MIS and Al Khor are tied at the FIRST Position.While DPS-MIS was represented by a group of 30 students at the Quiz, the DPS-MIS debate team comprised Afreen Rahman, Abhilasha Saini, Soheb Salim, Dhananjay Kamat, Dhruv Relwani and Pavithra Mangaipathy. Students are from classes 9, 10 and 11.
