| The DPS Modern Indian School debate teams participated
in the 1st Qatar Preparatory Schools Debate League (Boys) on Saturday,
November 30, 2024, at Al Sailiyah Preparatory School for Boys, where
they displayed exceptional skills and teamwork. Team 1, consisting of
Mohammed Fauzan Abbas, Amir Nawaz Razvi Syed, and Prayan Agarwal, won
all four rounds, securing the top score among all schools in the league.
Prayan Agarwal was awarded Best Speaker of the League, while Mohammed
Fauzan Abbas and Amir Nawaz Razvi Syed tied for 3rd position. Team 2
included Aryan Gupta, Aarav Gupta, and Kabir Khanna, and Team 3
consisted of Nikhilesh Samantaray, Arnav Deepak Singhl, and Sambhav
Kumar Singh. The teams were accompanied by trainers and adjudicator Mr.
Somasundaram Narayanan and Ms. Nida Farooq, who played an integral role
in their success. The school's principal, Ms. Asna Nafees, praised the
debaters for their outstanding achievements, presenting them with medals
and congratulating them on their top positions. |
