| DPS-Modern Indian School clinched the National
Championship at the Qatar Schools Debating League Grand Final (Boys) on
7th May 2025 at Multaqa – Education City, marking a proud moment for the
school. |
| The team — Surya Kauthik, Archit Chhikara, and Nikkil
Dcruz — delivered a stellar performance throughout the national rounds,
held from 3rd May at Newton International Academy. They defeated
Philippine School Doha, Newton International Academy, and Philippine
International School before securing a decisive win against Birla Public
School in the final. Nikkil Dcruz was named Best Speaker of the Grand
Final for his outstanding articulation and impact.The team was
accompanied by Mr. Somasundaram, a trained debate judge, whose
mentorship added strength to their journey. |
| School Principal Ms. Asna Nafees and Vice Principal Ms.
Soma Bhattacharjee congratulated the team, commending their critical
thinking, confidence, and communication skills, and celebrated the
