| The topic of the skit was SELF CONFIDENCE, which is an essential quality that every student must develop to lead their life in a better way.To improve this students of class 6A did a role-play of Walt Disney, Lionel Messi and J.K. Rowling and spoke about the failures, they faced at the beginning of their career. They also enacted how to overcome the fear of failure. Finally they concluded the assembly with a national anthem holding a flag. | ||||

| On October 21, Tuesday Class 6B conducted the
assembly, which was the first assembly for class VI. The topic of the
assembly was “Punctuality”. The enthusiasm was seen on the faces of the
students because of the gracious presence of Mou Bera Madam and Rachel
Madam. It began with the Morning Prayer, followed by the thought – ‘Time & tide waits for no man’. Then it was time to make everyone aware of what was happening around the world. Shobhiyaa Paneer recited her own poem on punctuality after the news. Following this, the students enacted a skit on the importance of being punctual. Another student, Hamza Alam recited a poem on the topic punctuality written on this own. Mou Bera Madam then enthralled the audience as well as the participants with her encouraging words. The curtain fell with the national anthem. |

| On October 22 Wednesday, Class 6C conducted the
assembly. It was the first enthusiastic moment for everyone for which
one they have prepared on their own everything and waiting for a long
time. The topic of the assembly was “Honesty is the best policy”. Assembly began with Morning Prayer followed by thought. An incident from Gandhi’s childhood was narrated as a tonic represent honesty. Following this the students enacted a skit on importance of being honesty. The story was about the oil man who was tried to be cheated by his friend and got punishment from the king. Later two students read the current news as well as the school news. A couplet of a classic Thirukural in Tamil was recited and explained meaning in English based on honesty. Speech was given with compatibly large vocabularies and proved their capabilities. Our Coordinator explained the importance todays assembly topic HONESTY, the basic character of every child. Finally they concluded the assembly with the national anthem and Diwali wishes. The assembly by class VI D was conducted on Tuesday 28th of October 2014. As the routine goes the assembly began with Morning Prayer by Dana. Followed by the thought for the day given by Masoom. Next was the pledge taken by Harini and all the students present for the assembly. The topic of Sensitivity was depicted in the following manner. |

| The Class Assemblies of Grade 6F,6G,6H,6I and 6J were held between November 4th,2014 and November 12th,2014.All the assemblies were addressed by Ms.Rachel Alwyn, the coordinator for Grade 6-8.She appreciated the efforts taken by the students and the class teachers for well prepared ,thought provoking assemblies. | ||||
| Grade 6F Assembly was based on the proverb ‘A Friend In Need Is A Friend Indeed.’ It was held on November 4th 2014.After the prayer and thought for the day the students presented a skit that conveyed the importance of friendship and how we have to value it. Then news was read. After the Indian pledge the assembly ended with the Indian National Anthem | ||||

| November 6th 2014, was the assembly date for Grade 6H.It started with the prayer followed by the thought of the day and news headlines to make the audience aware of the latest happenings around us. A skit was presented on the assembly topic Cleanliness Is A Virtue ,which highlighted the importance of having clean personal habits for oneself as well for our family ,friends and society. This was followed by a poem recitation and cleanliness placard display .The assembly came to an end with the Indian National Anthem after taking the Indian pledge. | ||||

| Grade 6I had their assembly on November 11th
2014.Their assembly topic was based on the proverb, A Stitch In Time
Saves Nine. After the prayer and thought for the day, the students
enacted a skit on the assembly topic .The news and the Indian pledge
followed the skit. The assembly dispersed after the Indian National
Anthem. The theme of the class assembly of Grade 6J was Industry Is The Mother Of Our Luck. It was held on November 12th 2014.The assembly that started with the prayer also showcased the thought for day, Indian pledge, a speech on hard work along with the display of valuable quotes. A song depicting the importance of hard work was rendered by the students in a very impressive manner. |

| The class assemblies were definitely a good platform for the students to portray their thoughts related to the assembly topics. It helped them to realize the joy achieved through working in group and instilled a sense of gratification after accomplishing the given tasks successfully. The grade 6 students were great audience encouraging their peers and responding in a positive manner. The advices , suggestions,guidance and appreciation offered by our coordinator Ms. Rachel Alwyn to the students as well as to the teachers involved in the Grade 6 class assemblies will always be highly valued and cherished by each one of us. | ||||
