DPS MIS students attend an MUN conference - 2021-22
The students of DPS modern Indian school attended an MUN conference on 4th December 2021 conducted by SkillSphere via the zoom platform where the delegates from all around the world took part.
There were 7 enthusiastic delegates from DPS MIS - Gargee Kanade, Ishant Datta, Nivedita Gulia, Surya Kauthik, Om Agashe, Sharvi Patwardhan and Aayan Khan from 8th grade who attended the session. The conference consisted of five different committees each tackling equally pressing global issues like the Yemen crisis, women empowerment and gender inequality etc. Each committee had more than 20 delegates from different parts of the world to share their country's policies and perspectives. Each committee also discussed and debated on various caucuses introduced along with the working papers to come up with a unanimous resolution. The laws and policies of various countries were put forward and international solutions were discussed. The conference ended with the chairs announcing the awardees who were the best delegates and gave feedback to the others.

Sharvi Patwardhan of our school was awarded Best Delegate.
The conference helped the students to get an insight on the various issues affecting the globe and suggested potential solutions for them. They enjoyed the session and interacted with the other delegates. They also learned a lot of new skills which would surely be helpful in the future MUNs.
