DPS MIS delegate leave a lasting impression at THIMUN 2024 and enrich their diplomatic skills
DPS Modern Indian School (DPS MIS) carved a significant niche at the prestigious The Hague International Model United Nations (TQ) 2024. The event, renowned for being the largest in the Middle East and North Africa region, took place at the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC) from November 23 to 25, drawing in over 1200 delegates from 65+ countries worldwide.
The THIMUN 2024 conference was marked by an astounding display of diversity and cultural exchange, providing a rich backdrop for the 13 energetic DPS MIS delegates. Under the guidance of Mr. Amir Khan and Ms. Telma D’Souza, these young minds engaged in robust discussions, reflecting their deep understanding of global affairs, SDG goals and diplomatic skills. The DPS MIS delegation demonstrated a profound commitment to addressing pressing international issues throughout the three-day event. Their active participation and insightful contributions to the diverse committees at THIMUN 2024 were commendable. The conference served as a melting pot of ideas, where delegates exchanged views and developed critical thinking skills in a highly dynamic environment.
Daiwik Dhar and Aditya Jain, chaired the GA5 committee, setting a high standard for discourse and deliberation. Their leadership played a pivotal role in steering the committee's discussions towards productive outcomes.
