DPS-MIS delegates Participate in XVIth Annual Doha College Model United Nations DCMUN Conference 2024 and win Awards
DPS Modern Indian School (DPS MIS) made a triumphant mark at the esteemed Doha College Model United Nations (DCMUN) 2024, held at the Doha College Campus from the 12th to the 14th of December. The delegation, comprising 9 zealous delegates and 2 experienced chairs, showcased an exemplary commitment to diplomatic discourse and critical thinking throughout the conference. Over the course of 3 days, innovative ideas were shared, memories were created and critical thinking skills were developed in over 17 committees at the event.
Under the guidance of Mr. Amir Khan and Ms. Jolly Sabu, the DPS-MIS delegation, not only participated actively in the discussions but also demonstrated a profound understanding of global issues. The annual DCMUN provided a platform for students to delve into the intricacies of global affairs, addressing pressing issues with maturity and acumen. The delegation also showcased an impressive performance, bagging two honorable mention awards in total. Syeda Alina Habeeba & Rushda Anjum Hussain Abedi were conferred ‘honorable mentions.’ The experience garnered at DCMUN 2024 is expected to serve as a significant stepping stone in their academic and personal development.
