| A workshop titled "Commerce Horizons: Emerging Trends & Career
Pathways" was organized by the dedicated team of Savitribai Phule Pune
University. The event took place on 5th May,2024 (Sunday) in the
auditorium from 9 am to 1 pm, which was elegantly decorated for the
occasion. |
| Approximately 90 students from DPS-Modern Indian School &
DPS-Monarch International School accompanied by a panel of commerce
teachers, attended the program. The students received a warm welcome and
a small gift upon arrival, setting a positive tone for the event. The
proceedings began with an invocation seeking blessings for the event. |
| Mr. Yasir Nainar, the President of the University and Dr Bimalendu
B. Nath the Director of the Savitribai Phule Pune University, Doha,
Qatar Campus, enlightened the students about the dynamic fields of the
financial world. They shared valuable insights into various emerging
domains and trends. |

| The distinguished Chief Guests, CA Nirlep Bhatt Past Chairman- Doha
Chapter of ICAI and Mr. Sameer Abou Zaghla Education Manager- Qatar
Stock Exchange added depth to the discussions. |
| Mr. Nirlep Bhatt, a Chartered Accountant, Law graduate, and
ex-Chairman of ICAI Doha Chapter, delivered a captivating speech on
emerging career pathways. He emphasized the significance of Digital
Transformation, Literacy, and Sustainability in today's financial
landscape. Moreover, he stressed the importance of critical thinking,
teamwork, and the development of a cultural mindset. |

| Following Mr. Bhatt's insightful session, Mr. Sameer Abou Zaghla
provided valuable insights into trading on the Stock Exchange. He
delivered a detailed demonstration, illustrating essential criteria for
investing in the share market to ensure company stability. Additionally,
he elucidated the procedures for opening an account on the Qatar Stock
Exchange. |

| Subsequently, volunteers organized engaging activities for the
students, enriching their knowledge in commerce. Prizes, hampers, and
recognition were bestowed upon the winning students, further motivating
them to excel. Hygienic food and beverages were generously distributed
by the volunteers to both students and teachers, ensuring everyone's
comfort. |

| In conclusion, the workshop was meticulously organized by the
university team, and the volunteers exhibited exceptional care and
support throughout the program. The event concluded with a vote of
thanks, expressing gratitude to all participants for their valuable
