| DPS Modern Indian School proudly participated in the 1st Qatar
Secondary Schools Debate League (Boys), held on Saturday, 15 November
2025. Three teams represented the school in a highly competitive field
of 58 teams from various institutions across Qatar. The event was marked
by an outstanding achievement for DPS Modern Indian School, as several
students secured top individual speaker awards. Prayan Agarwal (Class X
A) was honoured with the Best Speaker Award, while Aarav Singh (XI A)
earned the Second Best Speaker Award. Further accolades included 8th
Best Speaker for Imaad Hussain (XI B), and 10th Best Speaker Awards for
both Akhilesh Samantaray (XI A) and Ishant Datta (XII C). The event
commenced with online registration followed by an opening ceremony at
the Briefing Hall, setting the tone for a day of intellectually
stimulating exchanges. |

| All three teams from DPS demonstrated commendable skill, clarity of
thought, and strong argumentative ability, reflecting the school’s
continued commitment to excellence in oratory and critical thinking.
These results stand as a testament to the students’ dedication, the
strength of the school’s debate programme, and the guidance provided by
their mentors. |
