DPS-Modern Indian School Participates in the 4th Edition of MIMUN Organized by DPS Monarch International School

DPS Modern Indian School proudly participated in the 4th edition of MIMUN (Monarch International Model United Nations), hosted by DPS Monarch International School from 16 – 18 October 2025. The prestigious event brought together young, aspiring diplomats and debaters from various schools, fostering global awareness, critical thinking, and leadership skills through rigorous discussions on pressing international issues.

Representing DPS-Modern Indian School as delegates were: • Mohamed Hishaam (XI-B) – Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) • Harsh Rajesh Thobhani (XI-J) – Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) • Akhilesh Samantaray (XI-A) – United Nations Disaster Assessment and Coordination (UNDAC) and • Rushda Abedi (X-K) – United Nations Disaster Assessment and Coordination (UNDAC),

Aarav Deepak Singh (XI-A) served as Head Chair in the General Assembly Third Committee (GA3).

Achievements:

Harsh Rajesh Thobhani (XI-J) was awarded Best Delegate in ECOSOC. Akhilesh Samantaray (XI-A) was awarded Best Delegate in UNDAC. Mohamed Hishaam (XI-B) received a High Commendation in ECOSOC

The students displayed remarkable diplomacy, research skills, and public speaking abilities throughout the sessions. Their active participation not only reflected their dedication to global affairs but also upheld the values of DPS Modern Indian School – encouraging critical inquiry, cultural awareness, and international collaboration.
