Our School Shines at DCMUN 2025 with Outstanding Delegate Achievements
DPS–Modern Indian School participated in the XVII edition of the Doha College Model United Nations (DCMUN), held on the 13th, 14th, and 15th November 2025. The conference brought together students from various schools across the region, offering a platform for diplomatic debate, global problem-solving, and leadership development.
The school proudly sent a delegation of 18 students, each representing different countries across multiple committees who showcased excellent research skills, diplomacy and confidence in addressing global issues.
Three delegates received prestigious awards for their outstanding contributions:
• Both Biswajit Dalai (Grade X -A)- Delegate of South Africa in GA6, and Lekhamrutha Shree Tejaswini Jami (Grade X-E) -Delegate of Türkiye in GA3 received the Best Delegate Award.
• Harsh Thobani (Grade XI-J) Delegate of Australia in HRC, earned an Honourable Mention.
The DCMUN 2025 conference proved to be an enriching and transformative experience for our delegation. It strengthened their understanding of international relations, enhanced their analytical abilities and encouraged effective teamwork. The event also fostered confidence, collaboration, and a spirit of global citizenship—values that DPS–Modern Indian School continues to uphold. The achievements of our delegates at the conference inspire future participation and reaffirm our commitment to nurturing informed, responsible, and globally aware young leaders.
