:: McDonald Painting Competition 2010

DPS-MIS students participated in Painting Competition organized by McDonald in the month of June 2010. The theme of the competition was CHILDREN AND MOTHER EARTH.

Shubhra Bedi of Grade VA & Kumari Simran of Grade VIA bagged First Prize in 6-9 years age group and 9-12 years age group respectively. They received a Trophy, a Gift Voucher and a Gift pack of Goodies for their painting.

DPS-Modern Indian School student, Srinidhi Ramanathan of class-VIF participated in painting competition "PAINT FOR A PRIZE" organized by NEXUS FINANCIAL SERVICES in the month of June 2010. The theme of the contest was " SAVE OUR PLANET".

The Institute of Engineers have recently launched a three-tiered programme titled "Project 5S - School Students Struggle for Sustainability and to Save Environment"

The AMBASSADORS ROLLING TROPHY will be awarded to the school which emerges the overall winner after all the three phases of the competition are completed.

 ::Environmental Exhibition - DPS-MIS Brings Home The Cup!

DPS-MIS have emerged Champions at the Inter-school Environmental Exhibition hosted by Bright Future Pakistani School. The exhibition, which was held on 10.6.10, focused on environmental issues and solutions. DPS-MIS students presented two working models and slide-shows that focused on the problem of scarcity of water and viable solutions.

:: DPS-MIS student shines at QATAR OPEN PUBLIC SPEAKING COMPETITION


Dhruv Relwani of Class 9 has recently bagged the Second Runner-up Position at the Qatar Open Public Speaking Championship.

From the 51 students who had registered for the competition, ten students made it to the Finals.

For the first time in Qatar, a Malayalam talk show was conducted by the Friends Cultural Centre on the 27th of May, 2010.

The students of DPS-MIS were ACTIVE participants in the talk show that focussed on the issue of ‘Education in India and Abroad’.
